Dr. Nelsa Andersson Ciapponi is board certified in Family Medicine and Integrative and Holistic Medicine. She is a graduate of Duke University and completed residency in Family Medicine at the University of CT.
Dr. Nelsa has practiced family medicine for over 20 years and has a long standing interest in holistic medicine which she actively combines with conventional medicine in her practice. She has advanced her studies in Functional Medicine, nutrition and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and has special interest in utilizing evidence based methods to treat illness and to promote wellness.
Dr. Nelsa has lived in Charlotte for 16 years with her husband, 2 children, dog and cat. She is also a volunteer at the Community Health Center.
